Anna space is the most innovative, fresh and groundbreaking area of Codorníu Cavas. It has an adjoining terrace that perfectly complements the indoor space.
The origin of Anna de Codorníu goes back to the sixteenth century, and its history, is that of a family of winegrowers headed by Jaume Codorníu. A document of the time testifies that in 1551 the family already possessed presses, barrels and containers to make wine. The year 1659 was marked by the marriage of Anna, heiress of the Codorníu dynasty, and Miquel Raventós, a ceremony that united forever these two sagas of winemakers, the foundations of the current Codorníu winery.
